Across GDC ' s Facilities
DID YOU KNOW that GDC has 8 facilities offering beekeeping programs throughout the state , and there are currently 190 offenders enrolled in bee keeping classes .
Metro TC announced their Bee Keeping Initiative by introducing the queen bee to the beehive recently . The Georgia Department of Corrections partnered with Paideia School , Honey Next Door , and the Georgia Beekeeper Association , to provide the residents an opportunity to earn a Bee Keepers certification .
