Graduation Celebrations
Emanuel WF held its 1st graduation for the Diamonds in the Ruff Dog Program . 10 Offenders received Character of a Leader certificates . Utilizing skills they learned in class , they rehabilitated a shelter dog to assist in his adoption !
5 Atlanta TC residents received Welding certificates through GA Piedmont Technical College . This program will allow the residents to gain meaningful employment while securing a new pipeline of highly skilled professionals for the welding industry .
26 offenders at Macon SP walked across the stage to receive their General Equivalency Diploma last week . We appreciate all of our dedicated educators who continually encourage offenders to reach their goals .

There have been 73 GEDs earned at Whitworth Women ’ s Facility since the start of Fiscal Year ‘ 22 . Congratulations to these offenders on their hard work ! Thank you staff for your continued support in helping these women reach their goals .
