Congratulations to 15 offenders at Dooly SP who completed Pathfinders . This program equips offenders with the development and facilitation skills necessary to mentor others and to help them become successful in their lives as community members .
Residents at Atlanta TC produced a successful harvest of 72 pounds of honey from the facility ’ s Bee Keeper Program . Thanks to our partnership with University of Georgia and Young Harris College , residents have been able to learn the aspects of horticulture and beekeeping .
Dedicated GDC staff work hard to provide offenders with work-force ready skills through Career , Technical and Higher Education . Educators & offenders at Valdosta TC have exceeded their educational goal in FY22 by achieving 329 CTHE completions so far ! Congratulations !
