As the COVID-19 pandemic began , PST members immediately began working to provide resources and creating an outlet for staff to decompress about their experiences and traumas related to COVID-19 . PST began offering COVID-19 group sessions three times a week where staff could confidently discuss challenges , concerns , and issues they were facing in their personal or professional lives about COVID-19 . The sessions are entirely confidential ; however , staff continually report that they are thankful for the support and appreciate the community within the group .
PST members work together to unite the agency ’ s staff to ensure that they feel valued and appreciated while providing a listening ear and a workplace that they can comfortably call home .
