Officer LaTora Swint began her career with the Georgia Department of Corrections in 2007 and has worked various post during her tenure. In July 2014, the staff dining operation began at Johnson State Prison and she was selected to perform those duties.
Officer Swint has transformed the Johnson State Prison staff dining into a well-oiled machine and visitors often comment on the quality and cleanliness of the dining area. Officer Swint is also a member of the Employment Benefit Committee and ensures that all staff functions are ran in a proficient manner. Officer Swint has also taken her personal time to organize fundraisers for staff members having difficulties or staff members who need a helping hand.
Officer Swint is passionate about her job and for her love of the staff at Johnson State Prison.
