Officer Moore has been employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) as a Correctional Officer since August 2011. During his tenure, he has proven time and time again, that he is a dependable and excellent work performer.
Officer Moore is extremely cognizant and observant of the atmosphere in his dormitories. When something needs to be reported, he notifies the appropriate staff in a timely manner, helping to prevent situations from escalating or causing harm or injury to another, and protecting state property.
Officer Moore is extremely punctual when reporting to work, and makes it a habit to assist his co-workers until the last officer is relieved. He is often the last one to leave from night shift duties, and when asked, his co-workers agree, that Correctional Officer Moore "never complains". We appreciate his hard-work and dedication to Autry State Prison and the GDC.
