Correctional Officer (CO) Hale began his career at Ware State Prison in 1997 and then transferred to Bacon Probation Detention Center / Transitional Center in 2012.

COII Hale is a dedicated, self-motivated employee who is full of energy. He provides solutions and resolutions to issues and is always willing to assist in any situation. He is a team player that doesn’t mind stepping out of his comfort zone to get involved, to help the facility run smoothly. COII Hale always finds the positive in any situation, and is always willing to do everything asked of him.

COII Hale is an experienced Correctional Officer that does an exceptional job wherever he is assigned in the facility, and this facility is fortunate to have a career correctional officer and co-worker such as COII Hale.

Sergeant (Sgt.) Ryals from Telfair State Prison has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the Georgia Department of Corrections. He has shown exemplary service to the facility & others by his selflessness, integrity & loyalty in all that he does.

 

During his shift, he is often the first to report and the last to leave, because he is assisting the supervisors in any way possible. No matter what obstacle is placed in his way, he has always adapted to the situation, and successfully overcame. There has never been a statement of negativity heard coming from Sgt. Ryals, and his positive attitude helps build the morale of his fellow co-workers.

During a recent incident, Sgt. Ryals quick thinking and fearless actions, prevented several staff members and offenders from being harmed in an assault. There have been several instances where he was faced with obstacles where he found a way to complete the task ethically & professionally. This type of action reflects his dedication to his job, and his loyalty to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

His unselfish dedication, loyalty, service before self, organizational commitment, professionalism, consistency, and teamwork will continue to help him progress in his career, as well as, succeed in everything he sets forth to accomplish.
