Correctional Officer (CO) Darity has been employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections since 1999. His career has afforded him the opportunity to work at various locations throughout his tenure. Currently, CO Darity is working at Macon Transitional Center (TC) as the backup officer in charge of his shift. He is described as an exceptional officer who is consistently dependable, enthusiastic, and motivating to other staff. CO Darity has proven himself to be reliable and routinely goes above and beyond his regular duties by volunteering to work on his off days at Valdosta State Prison for the Tiger Team. His performance consistently exceeds expectations, and Macon TC is a better place because of his presence and dedication.

Correctional Officer (CO) Allen began her career with the Georgia Department of Corrections four and a half years ago. CO Allen maintains excellent customer service skills, while treating staff, visitors, and residents with the utmost respect. When asked to assist with staff coverage, she does so professionally and with a can-do attitude. She never has a complaint and is willing to assist with any task that is asked. CO Allen exemplifies her dedication to serve by consistently following post orders assuring resident accountability so that the facility and community is safe. Officer Allen is respected by her peers and is an asset to Charles T. Hudson Transitional Center.
