Well, guess who caught up me while I was in Vegas? YES! Mr. Gerald Alston; The lead singer of The Manhattans. Yes, his people got in touch with my people and now I can share with all of you what he’s been up to. Find out why The Manhattans got the The Standard Bank of South Africa shut down for a full 30 minutes. Also, Mr. Alston shared a story with me that will leave you scratching your head and saying Why? I’m just saying, this Summer Issue is HOT for real!! Some of you may not know this but, prior to owning this publication I was a hairstylist for more than 20 years. Renee M. Beavers who happens to be a really good friend of mine has developed this awesome product for your hair called Regiment Systematic Beauty, I have used it on my hair and it is awesome. Read about all of the good things it will do for Natural or Relaxed hair. If you want Healthy Hair from the inside out read The article on Renee M. Beavers right here in our Summer Issue. Oh, let's not forget the very lovely Bishop Corletta Vaughn the Senior Pastor of The Holy Ghost Cathedral and Chief Apostle to G o Te l l I t E v a n g e l i s t i c M i n i s t r y Worldwide. Her network provides oversight to 70 churches nationally and more than 1300 ministries globally. We caught up with the Bishop right here in Detroit. She stars on the Oxygen Network with a very diverse group of other Pastors and Evangelists that are also from Detroit staring in the reality show The Preachers of Detroit. Bishop welcomed us into her office with open arms and allowed us to also video the interview. You have to stay tuned to Impact Detroit Media on YouTube for that. When I tell you this is a woman on the move for God I'm not just saying it to make up words. This Interview was so powerful, I was in tears. Some things she said hit some nerves and some sensitive spots in me. Even the videographer was into the conversation. Her story is a must read . It is juicy. Read it right here in this Summer Issue.
