I am inspired by Mr. Scott Michael Harris.
He is the epitome of what I want to be in ten
years. He graduated from Morehouse
College and Harvard Business School, two
things I wish to achieve; he's a great role
model for young black men.

The person who inspires me most
is Michael Oher. He has
accomplished so much in his life
even though he did not have the
best start. After overcoming a
rough environment as a child and
being adopted, Michael still
managed to make his dreams
come true and made it to the
NFL. Because of him, I know it's
not where you start it's where you
finish.

I am inspired by my mother and my
grandmother, Marie Bivins Patterson. Both
mom and grandma are compassionate and
selfless. Regardless of obstacles they continue
to give of themselves, sacrificing so others can
achieve their goals and doing so with style and
grace. First Lady Michelle Obama inspires me
on a macro level because of her graceful yet
savvy method of operation. She’s a wife,
mother, attorney and first lady of the USA and
somehow, she never lets others see her sweat
even under pressure. These 3 ladies - my
mother, grandmother and first lady – inspire
me to want to be my best me.
