Donations to the Annual Fund support Educational Enhancements which increase the quality of our curriculum and programmes . As part of our strategic vision , LCIS has made a deep commitment to expanding students ’ exposure to the arts . In recent years , this has been done through the school ’ s support of the LCIS Art Institute , which brings locally and internationally renowned artists to the classroom , as well as several other initiatives . These experiences are truly transformative and give our students hands-on experience in the fine and performing arts .

This year , LCIS has teamed up with the acclaimed Bahamas Artist Movement to offer a co-curricular activity and an elective focusing on developing students ’ acting skills . The school hopes to develop the various interests of its students , knowing that well-rounded and balanced students perform at a much higher level all around .

Funds allocated to Educational Enhancements also support LCIS faculty and staff by ensuring that they are at the forefront of knowledge and best practices in their fields through ongoing Professional Development .
