There are pivotal moments in life, some unexpected, that help an individual to progress. For me, one of these pivotal moments presented itself when I had the opportunity to study at LCIS. The foundational skills that I acquired while finishing my high school education here helped to indoctrinate in me a hard-working spirit and focus on my studies. In particular, the rigorous IB programme pushed me to exceed academic boundaries that I didn’t even know existed and to reach beyond what I thought was possible.” - Danisha Higgs: LCIS Class of 2010, Albright College ‘15, University of the West Indies ‘19 Financial Donations to the Annual Fund support our Financial Aid Programme and make LCIS a reality for a greater number of qualified Bahamian students, further increasing the diversity and richness of our student body. Over the past five years, you have invested $800,000 in the LCIS Financial Aid Programme. Highlighting the impact of our programme, our students have earned over $3.6 million in financial aid and scholarships from colleges and universities around the world. Due to your generous contributions and our $1 million dollar scholarship endowment, $266,000 was available for Financial Aid in the 2015-16 school year.
