As its name suggests, fundraising for the
Annual Fund takes place every year. And
every year we are amazed by the generosity of
parents, grandparents, neighbours, community
members and corporate partners who continue
to support the Annual Fund to help develop our
school and provide the best opportunities for
students every day.
As a non-profit organisation, every tuition dollar
and every donated dollar is spent to provide
resources and experiences that have a direct
and immediate impact on the students in so
many ways.
Some of the highlights of fundraising last year
included significant funds allocated to the
ongoing professional growth of our teachers
under the guidance of new principal Mr
Mindorff. It was a record year for scholarship
giving, and we would like to thank all the donors
at every level who continue to make an LCIS
education available to those Bahamian families
who could not otherwise afford to attend.
LCIS has always been a school by the community
for the community. Thank you for making our
community stronger with your generosity
throughout the year.
