OFFLINE MARKETING
I am going to advertise my Kady Mcdermott and lipsy London collaboration in a variety of different ways, the main marketing strategy i am going to use for offline marketing is the use of billboards. The Billboards will be loacated in and around London, in underground tube stations, the side of buses and on buildings. The billboards show large advetisements which are meant to be enticing to pedestrians and maybe catch the eye of those stuck in traffic. As i am advertising my collaboration my billboards will also be located in key retail areas such as shopping centres including Westfield in Stratford and areas with a high footfall such as Oxford street and Knightsbridge.
My collaboration will also be advertised in popular fashion magazines, getting featured in magazines is very important as many A-lists in the fashion industry read fashion magazines to keep updated with current trends. It is crucial as if bloggers read about it they might write about it which can increase the collaboration popularity and future sales. The main aim it to get the collaboration recognised by many.
The Press Event for this collaboration, which is being held at the Maddison Rooftop bar in London is expected to get a lot of attention from the public. The more press and attention the event gets means it is likely that when the collaboration actually launches in June that the sales increase. A successful Press Event has chain outcomes; It is important that the event has a lot of celebrity faces attend so that they can post about the event and their fans read about it and want to be involved and want to purchase from the collaboration.
Flyers will be handed out in shopping centres like Lakeside in Thurrock and in a variety of different train stations around England and underground tube stations around London. The purpose of flyers are to grab the attention of pedestrians and make them want to find out more about the collaboration.
