Health around the world
As most of us know there are many types of contraceptive methods such as condoms, pills, etc. The sad thing is that we may have heard about them but maybe we don’t have enough information about them, and that increases the probability of a non-wished pregnancy.
Truth is that a baby is such a great responsibility that if you’re not careful you may not reverse it, with sex comes responsibility and you have to be ready to be a parent not just physically but emotionally, you have to get a job, food for the baby, a roof, clothes for the baby, you have to know how to raise your own child, because if you don’t you’re damaging he/she. Also, it may affect your whole family socially and emotionally.
A cross-sectional study was conducted among 220 women between 13 and 19 years of age.
Women were asked whether they had wanted their last pregnancy, and about knowledge and use of contraceptive methods after delivery. Adolescent pregnancies accounted for 17% of all births. A positive association was found between the lack of access to health services provided by public medical insurance systems. However, only 35% of them were actually using an effective contraceptive method six weeks after delivery. So by that we can understand Mexico’s vision of this topic that is over all, inform all the people about more safety ways of having sex.
