Marketing / Promotion: Host a Smurfs Party at the theatre opening weekend and invite families to attend the event together. Encourage patrons to“ Make Yourself Blue” by dressing up in blue body paint and costumes to resemble Smurfs. Offer fun photo ops. Upload photos to social media with hashtags associated with the film. Look for fast food restaurants and businesses that will sell merchandise that is a tie-in with the film. Engage users on social media to share their memories of the Smurfs franchise.
