Marketing / Promotion: Big displays- maybe a huge Kong peering over the marquee or above the theatre roof would help generate interest and curiosity. Great trailer of monsters on an island remind one of Jurassic Park. Have a radio station tie in other merchants with prizes to first callers when they hear a drum beating or“ Bad Moon Rising” playing on the radio. Target young adults and sci-fi fans. Have station tape reactions of fans coming out of theatre on opening night to feature in the promotion. Create a Kong photo op.
