Synopsis : In Diary of a Wimpy Kid : The Long Haul , based on the record-breaking book series , a family road trip to attend Meemaw ’ s 90th birthday party goes hilariously off course — thanks to Greg ’ s newest scheme to ( finally !) become famous .
Marketing / Promotion : Partner with book stores , libraries , and book clubs to promote the movie in conjunction with its inspiration , Jeff Kinney ’ s book of the same name .
This will be the fourth Diary of a Wimpy Kid film . Team up with schools and after school program groups for a literacy movement in the community that can incorporate the book and movie .
