Synopsis: When Mae( Emma Watson) is hired to work for the world’ s largest and most powerful tech & social media company, she sees it as an opportunity of a lifetime. As she rises through the ranks, she is encouraged by the company’ s founder, Eamon Bailey( Tom Hanks), to engage in a groundbreaking experiment that pushes the boundaries of privacy, ethics and ultimately her personal freedom. Marketing / Promotion: Partner with book stores, libraries, and book clubs to promote the movie in conjunction with the 2013 sci-fi book of the same name by Dave Eggers. Have book clubs read the novel in April and then organize group screenings. Promote the movie at sci-fi and comic book conventions with one-sheets, trailers, and other promotional materials. Social media and Websites are a great way to promote and generate curiosity for this possible look into the future. Digital assets and social media items will also be available.
