Imagination And Reality Flow In Opposite Directions In The Brain

Dreams, books, essays, everything needs even a little of imagination, but do you know how the brain work with imagination?

We all have at least once, imagined something so hard, that it was almost real.

Although according to researchers, the brain understands the differences between real things and imagination, the biggest question is: “Which parts of the brain work with imagination?”...Knowing that the brain does not work in only one part for each thing, but as a network, we realize that there are areas in the brain interacting to find the answer.

But, where does the reality go and where does the imagination go? Science says they go in opposite ways, dreaming with you driving a car is completely different from driving a real car by yourself. All your real experiences travel in your brain to your sensory organs, a different way that the imagination does. According to the curiosities from some scientists, the big discovery is the difference between those two conditions and how it could help to figure out the complex neural network.

In one of the two situations, an entering on the left brain, the visual information traveled to the brain’s occipital lobe, and got transferred to the parietal lobe, in one of the conditions, the other, the information traveled from the parietal lobe to the occipital lobe.
