Glamour Shoots
Glamour photography is a form of
photography which focuses on the
models used in the photography,
highlighting their natural features in a
way which is meant to be flattering
and artistic.
I view my photographic work as art,
employing many different ideas and
techniques to bring out people’s best
features and make them feel good
about themselves. Sometimes, these
photographs bring out another side of
the model, and some interesting
images emerge. While glamour
photography is often associated with
sensual images, it doesn't necessarily
have to be sensual in nature.
Glamour photography may be in color
or black and white, with photographs
staged in a variety of settings and in
an assortment of ways. I enjoy
working with backdrops in a studio
setting, which allows me more control
of the lighting, but I will shoot
outdoors as well. Whatever feels the
most natural and comfortable for my
clients.
These sessions include professional
makeup and hairstyling prior to the
shoot.
A consultation approximately 1 week
prior to the event will help us decide
on the look and wardrobe that you
want, and give us time to locate any
props that you might want to use.
