Derrick Swann

Swann always exhibits excellent patient care and just this week there was a great example of that. We had an elderly woman that needed a dry head CT. Swann said she was extremely anxious before they even left her room, but he calmed her down enough to come over for the scan. Once in the room, she became very anxious about moving to the table. Swann offered his hand to hold while we slid her over. She held his hand very tightly the whole time and it seemed to help. He stayed in the room and talked with her and held her hand until the very last second so we could get the scan done.

Swann is always very caring and helps any way he can to get the job done! -Becky & Nicole

Ron Wardrope

This past Friday, July 11th, Ron went above and beyond for one of the pediatric patients. The patient is very nervous about needle sticks, and trusts very few people to do so. Ron is her go to guy, and he started work 40 minutes before he was scheduled to so that he could start her IV and draw her blood for clinic (to prevent her getting stuck a second time)for a procedure in MRI that he was not assigned to cover. Mr. Patient-Centered strikes again! -Candy Zabko
