1.O2 Tank Storage
a. Remember to place the O2 tanks in the correct rack. There are signs in your area to help you remember when the tanks should be used, where the tanks should be stored and what labels to use.
b. There will be random checks by the JHH Compliance department so let’s get ready!
2. Epic Update: “Advanced Inpatient Scheduling” (new Workflow)
a. Scheduling inpatient Radiology exams in advance went live on Wednesday October 23, 2018
b. Radiology inpatients can be scheduled in advance in 4 hour blocks which allow patients on the unit to see when they will be getting their Radiology exam for the day (morning, afternoon, and evening).
3.The technologist can schedule the patients in advanced using the “snapboard” by moving patients from left to right within the 4 hour block time below including all portables.
