Standardized “Just In Time” and “Environmental of Care”-(EOC) checklists

The Radiology Joint Readiness Committee which consists of front line staff, Chief Technologists
and Managers has successfully created one “Just in Time” and one “Environmental of Care”-
(EOC) checklist to be used by every division of the department during Radiology’s internal mock
surveys. Both checklist can be found on Sharepoint’s Joint Commission Readiness website.

Visit the website to find very useful information in preparation for the Triennial survey
Mock Surveys
• Front line staff are being encouraged to sign up on the JHbox roster to mock survey an area
outside of their division.
• Radiologist reading rooms in the assigned area to be surveyed are being included by the mock
surveyors. Radiologist are being asked pertinent JC questions.

Employee Chart Audit
Regulatory held a mock chart audit on January 31, 2019 to help prepare managers and
supervisors for a successful chart review when the surveyors arrive
