Breakout Artist Of The Month

Boston George

Boston George is a native of the Northside of Houston Texas. He reps his entire city and the Great state of Texas quite well. A true Houstonian, George has been on the music scene for some time now, as a CEO. He experimented as a rap artist to no avail in 2009. Believing that his role as a leader would be a better fit, he stepped up as Co-CEO of the record label Authentik Music Group, known in the streets simply as ‘AMG’.

Boston George recorded his 1st official single entitled ‘Molly’ mid July of 2012. During a 3-week period, he managed to take the clubs and airwaves by storm!

Although only officially adopting the title of rap artist a mere year and a half ago, Houston’s Boston George has made a sizable impact to date. On “Trappin in Traffic”, his first solo debut, BG chronicles his journey over a few made-for-the-club type beats courtesy of T.A. Boston’s growing fan base can also peep him in Slim Thug’s latest visual, “Flex4Eva” alongside OG Thugga and the ‘Mozart of Classical Thot Muzik”, Beat King. “Trappin in Traffic” hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Mr. Rogers will soon be released to the public; due to George being high demand.

With music featuring cameos by staples like Meek Mill, BIG K.R.I.T., Young Jeezy and Kirko Bangz, it’s hard to believe that “Trappin In Traffic” is BG’s first solo project! The impact he’s had in this short time matches those of his predecessors. “Drug War” his collab with Boo Rossini, has garnered almost 200,000 to date on LiveMixtapes alone. George saw fit to keep his track record untarnished by featuring rap heavy weight Rick Ross on his newest release “Greatness!” Alongside Ross, was Slim Thug, and Rich Andruws, the single spread like wild fire on the web.

His latest masterpiece, “Trappin in Traffic,” is the perfect soundtrack to his hood tale that catches Boston George reflecting over the bleak beginnings that propelled him into street life. Still in his early 20’s, these memories are still fresh and now that he has had a taste of the good life, BG is adamant he is never going back.
