SCREENING
TYXC delivers comprehensive solutions in China
IM also reached out to a Chinese domestic screening major in the form of Sichuan Tengyu Xinchuang Environmental Protection Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd( TYXC), based in Shifang City, Sichan. It provided details of two of its recent projects; first an intelligent screening system for a large open-pit coal mine in Xinjiang. TYXC:“ This coal mine is a key mining area under China Energy Group, and is mainly engaged in lignite mining. Due to the raw coal’ s water content remaining at 18 %-22 % all year round, traditional screening equipment frequently encountered issues such as screen clogging and low screening efficiency( less than 65 %), which severely hindered the capacity of the coal washing process.”
In November 2023, TYXC customised an integrated solution combining its TYXC-Z1836 intelligent linear vibrating screen with remote operation and maintenance platform. The screen has an inclined screen surface design( with a 15 ° inclination angle) and is paired with polymer elastic screen plates with a wear resistance coefficient three times higher than that of traditional steel screen plates. It is also integrated with humidity sensors and an automatic screen cleaning device, enabling real-time adjustment of vibration frequency( adjustable between 12-15 Hz) based on the raw coal’ s water content.
On the operation and maintenance side, through a 5G IoT module, realtime uploading of equipment operating parameters( such as amplitude, bearing temperature, and processing capacity) is realised, supporting remote fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance. The project completed installation, commissioning, and went into operation in January 2024.
The actual screening efficiency increased to 88 %, with the daily processing capacity of a single piece of equipment reaching 22,000 t- representing a 40 % increase compared to the customer’ s original equipment capacity. The number of on-site operation and maintenance personnel was reduced by 50 %, and the customer issued a project acceptance certificate in March 2024.
TYXC also gave a second example – a multi-stage classification screening project at a copper polymetallic mine in Yunnan. The mining area is a core mine under Yunnan Copper Co Ltd, mainly producing copperiron associated ores. The mined raw ore( with a particle size range of 0-300 mm) needs to be classified into three particle size grades: > 80 mm( returned for crushing), 20-80 mm( sent for rough separation), and < 20 mm( sent for fine separation). Traditional single-screening equipment could

Screen Vibrator clogging, lower layer for classification) and is equipped with an adjustable excitation force device( 50-80 kN) to adapt to different ore densities.
The project was accepted and put into full-load operation in March 2024. Currently, the classification accuracy remains stable above 95 %( meeting the customer’ s requirement of ≥92 %). The recovery rate of 20-80 mm ore for rough separation has increased by 3.2 %, and the impurity content of < 20 mm ore for fine separation has dropped to below 1.5 %, fully meeting the customer’ s subsequent mineral processing requirements. The customer has also issued a project performance confirmation letter.
Electric Screen Vibrator hardly meet the demand for high-precision classification.
In January 2024, TYXC provided a twostage classification screening solution for the mine. The first stage uses a TYXC-C2040 heavy-duty circular vibrating screen( with a processing capacity of 800-1,000 t / h) for rough screening and impurity removal. It has a screen hole size of 80 mm and uses manganese steel woven screen meshes( with a service life of over six months). The second stage employs a TYXC-F1836 fine linear vibrating screen( with a processing capacity of 400-500 t / h) for fine classification of the 20 mm particle size. The screen surface adopts a double-layer composite screen mesh( upper layer for antiartin ® manufactures both electric and hydraulic screen vibrators designed to efficiently sift aggregate products( or any bulk material that can form clumps or compactions) to allow quick sorting of items by size. Our electric model is a direct replacement for Derrick ® shaker motors. When electricity is not available, our hydraulic vibrator features the same mounting bolt patterns as our standard electric vibrators.
