A JOEST SWZ 3000 x 8400 Double Deck Vibrating Screen recently delivered to a customer
screens for the CHPP at Ironbark No . 1 coal mine which is an underground longwall mine 30 km north-east of Moranbah ; with another significant customer being Kestrel Coal Resources for the CHPP at its longwall metcoal mine located 40 km north of Emerald in Queensland ' s Bowen Basin .

Aury screens it says have been designed to be exceptionally structurally sound , and extensively tested and tuned to eliminate stress induced cracking . Side plates are weldless and assembled using Huck bolts to ensure minimal stress on the structure . Exciter beams are box beam construction designed using FEA software and design tested using strain gauges to ensure trouble free operation over many years . Exciter beams are bolted using high tensile bolts and locking nuts . Heavy duty bearings by internationally recognised brands are used on the exciter for extended service life .
Exciter castings are machined and inspected in-house on high precision CNC machining centres . Almost all other exciter components are manufactured and machined in house to exacting standards . All exciters are test run for 24 hours while bearing temperatures are constantly monitored to ensure reliable long operational life . All fabricated steelwork is constructed from high grade and quality certified steel materials .
Aury screen cross beams feature innovative
and proven designs , consisting of tubular steel beams with full penetration welded flanges . Deck support fixing is via a cast steel saddle , which is machined and then Huck bolted to precisely and solidly mate to the cross beam . All exciter and cross beams are heat treated to eliminate stresses induced by welding .
Aury also recently releasd its new screening condition monitoring system ( CMS ), which it says offers real-time monitoring of various aspects of production units , from equipment disrepair to fault repair , intelligent diagnosis , and timely repair . The CMS system employs sensors on critical components like vibrating screen exciters , transmission shafts , and screen bodies to monitor parameters such as amplitude , running trajectory , phase , material load balance , and exciter bearings . The system provides analytical tools to diagnose bearing and gear faults and predict the service life of the exciter .
Users can access real-time equipment operation and status through a mobile app , which includes vibrating screen fault prediction and diagnosis . The system achieves a unified production equipment status monitoring platform and offers intelligent early warning and predictive maintenance .

Vibramech ships record units to Kenmare
Vibramech says it is southern Africa ’ s leading OEM for vibrating equipment , and it has certainly backed this up recently by shipping two 35 t screens which are the largest ever horizontal vibrating screens produced in its 47-year history . These have been shipped simultaneously with its largest ever pan feeders . The statistics are impressive - the screen deck size is W4,270 mm x L9,760 mm with the pan feeder outer measurements coming in at L8,380 mm x W4,030 mm . As with all Vibramech screens they were fully custom engineered .
These record units are for the same customer .
