An adapted machine , called the PTM200 , instead of the plain-milling cutter , comes with a 1,000-mm-wide roadheader-type cutter head , a dust suppression system and a 500-mm boom extension to improve productivity . The cabin has also been modified to ensure it can be levelled and adjusted to improve the visibility of the roadheading operations . This has been deployed successfully at a copper mine in Turkey , as an example but has been used across the world to improve road surfaces .
A robust roller compactor
The Paus PRW13 roller compactor is used for roadway stabilisation in underground ore mining with its main application in the Eurasia region . It has a compact and robust construction especially designed for underground use and the operator ' s cab ROPS / FOPS protected . The main unit is a diesel-powered articulated vehicle with engine power of 126 kW and GVW of 13,000 kg . It has an adjustable travel speed of 0-12 km / h . The roller compactor itself has a roll diameter of 1,390 mm or with a padfoot drum . 1,500 mm . The roll width is 2,100 mm and it has a maximum swing angle of ± 12 °. The maximum lump size on the track is 300
mm . It has a switchable vibratory drive with frequency of 30 / 40 Hz , amplitude of 1.8 / 0.6 mm and centrifugal force of 240 / 140 kN with a static line load of 32.8 kg / cm .

All configured operating parameters over the last 365 days are available for analysis . Many presentation and export options are available to give a compact overview or to make data available for extensive analysis . Paus delivers Paus Connect pre-configured . It can be adapted to your
requirements at any time . GPS , for example , can be used to monitor the specified operating range and to present it on a map . If the range is exceeded , information is sent by e-mail . Movements over the last 30 days are logged . Data is transmitted via existing WLAN and / or mobile networks . All machine data are cached in an onboard memory . As soon as the system can log on to a network again , the data collected offline are transmitted again . For machines without modern control units , the ‘ activity monitoring ’ function enables the operating time to be logged .
