ABB ’ s updated AMXE Motor Portfolio will also be on display , showcasing high-performance traction motors optimised for demanding environments , boasting improved power density and efficiency , it says . These solutions are a key part of ABB ’ s offering that allows customers complete solutions for hybrid or fully-electric construction and mining vehicles , both new and retrofit .
Alongside the on-board vehicle offering , ABB says it is also helping customers decarbonise by producing energy-efficient variable speed drives . The company will highlight two products : the ACS880LC Multidrives cabinet and the ACS8080 MV Drive , which , it says , have a key role in helping industries improve energy efficiency . The ACS880LC Multidrives are ultralow harmonic drives offering immunity to network disturbances , ensuring processes run smoothly in unstable supply network conditions . ABB will also present the ACS8080 , its newest medium voltage air-cooled drive . This new drive represents an evolution , building on over 50 years of experience delivering drives to industrial applications and bringing the reliability ,
performance and flexibility critical for maintaining productivity and supporting global decarbonisation goals .
Also on display at the ABB both will be a host of other solutions from ABB ’ s electrification and automation offering , including B & R solutions and Harnessflex specialist conduit systems .
