BAUMA PREVIEW
construction customers , and it will be showcasing this fact in Germany .
Since its inception , RESEMIN has been committed to delivering disruptive and innovative solutions , making it a preferred choice for many users after increased productivity at lower operational costs .
Today , RESEMIN offers drilling equipment models with high market acceptance and participation , the company says . A key example is the Bolter 99 , a rock reinforcement machine with an innovative design that facilitates positioning due to its drilling turret , allowing easy access to areas with limited space .
Additionally , thanks to its deep understanding of underground mining operations , the company has identified a mechanisation opportunity for customers operating in narrow veins . To cater for this need , RESEMIN has developed the Muki FF , the smallest hydraulic jumbo for face drilling on the market . This achievement has made the company the global leader in this application , with high demand for this equipment , it says . Among the bauma 2025 highlights on the
Resemin stand will be the Muki FF .
Continuing its commitment to providing solutions for the sector , the company has completed its range of equipment models for narrow-vein mining : the Muki LHBP for long-hole drilling and the Muki Bolter for rock reinforcement , thus covering the full mining cycle for this method of extraction .
Number six for Doofor
Doofor Inc out of Nokia , Finland , designs and manufactures a wide range of hydraulic rock drills . The products are used across underground production drilling , tunnelling , general excavations , dimensional stone quarrying , bolting and anchoring .
At bauma , Doofor is presenting a new 22 kW rock drill that features hydraulic dampening and back hammering as standard features . This new rock drill , named the DFR8 , represents the latest in the company ’ s technology developments . It uses T45 and T51 shank adapters .
The rock drill can be used in general excavations , longhole drilling and tunnelling for up to 115 mm drill holes , the company , which will be presenting in Munich for the sixth time , says .
Another new release scheduled for bauma is the Doofor DF530XS rock drill in the 10 kW size class with multiple shank options for confined

Deeper drill penetration
Brunner & Lay will use the show to launch a new bit model designate ‘ QW ’ for surface drilling in soft-rock formations .
The new model is designed with 16 carbides along with increased insert profile to aid formation of large chips and clearance for flushing . This helps the bit to penetrate deeper into the rock with each hammer stroke . The improvements in flushing capacity made through focus of flush media and larger chip channels aid removal of the cuttings at the bit face .
During tests in sandstone and limestone formations in North America , the new QW bits have realised as much as a 30 % decrease in bit consumption with up to 40 % faster penetration rates , according to the company .
MTG out for hardware , software integration
Both hardware and software will be on show at Barcelona-based MTG ’ s booth at bauma 2025 , with the company keen to show how the combination of the two allow for improved uptime , safety and productivity in mining .
The VEEMET system , which was debuted at the last bauma in Munich , will be on display .
This is a new and enhanced system for plate lip excavators and loaders of 20-250 t . As the successor of the well-known STARMET system , VEEMET has been optimised for increased performance and user-friendliness , the company says . It also incorporates innovative features that facilitate a new level of digitalisation and that let it become a totally new generation tooth system .
Apart from several new improvements and optimisations , VEEMET can be called the new generation tooth system because of two outstanding features : n Larger sizes ( ≥190 ) of MTG SYSTEMS / VEEMET are compatible with MTG ’ s GET DETECTION system , which allows GET monitoring and detachment alarms , providing more safety and machine availability ; and n A QR code on each VEEMET tooth brings upto-date product information to any on-site staff dealing with assembly and disassembly for tooth change-outs or welding adapters , providing the correct information when and wherever it is needed . Many of the new features are possible due to VEEMET ’ s innovative design . The new , V-shaped fitting with an 80 % larger contact area provides more resistance against direct , inverse , lateral and torsional loads , MTG states . This increased stability contributes to less plastic deformation and makes it possible to reduce the nose size by
