A new prototype Cat 775 off-highway truck will be on display in Munich
The Cat Performance Centre will take centrestage , showcasing the possibilities when power , machinery , technology and autonomy work together . The display will focus on a range of solutions designed to support customers in being more successful on their respective sites , including helping increase performance , streamline efficiencies and achieve their sustainability goals . Visitors will have the chance to simulate how upgrading their fleet with Caterpillar ’ s latest machine technologies can lead to significant reductions in fuel consumption and associated GHG emissions .
Advancements to VisionLink ® , an integrated Cat solution for equipment management , operations management and safety management will also be displayed . The expanded Cat Detect Portfolio , including People Detection , Seatbelt Monitoring , Driver Safety System ( DSS ) and Collision Mitigation , will demonstrate how technologies can maximise safety and performance , meanwhile .
The full suite of Cat Grade offerings will be presented , including Cat Grade with 3D and Cat Payload for Excavators . Cat Command technology will enable remote machine operation from a safe distance , with a demonstration of machines operating remotely from sites across Europe including at the Caterpillar Demonstration and Learning Centre in Malaga , Spain .
The new D8 dozer will be featured , based on the Next Generation platform . It includes a new operator station that is common with the D5-D7 platforms and comes with a 15-degree angled seat for enhanced comfort . Additionally , it introduces a full suite of Assist features and is Cat Grade 3D ready ex-factory , with the option to upgrade to Cat Command Remote Control .
Making its first appearance at bauma is the 140 AWD Next Generation Motor Grader . Still in prototype stage , this 20-t operating weight
prototype machine consolidates two existing platforms into a common next generation platform for motor graders , providing customers more choices of features , technologies and configurations .
A new prototype Cat 775 off-highway truck and the reintroduced 395 front shovel will be on display . The 775 transitions to the Next Generation platform with increased truck body volume ; this machine was designed to deliver superior performance and efficiency . The 395 features a Cat C18B engine , improved durability and extended service intervals .
A range of Caterpillar Industrial Engines compatible with renewable fuels such as 100 % HVO will be on display . The stand features the first showing of a series electric drivetrain , part of a growing electrification ecosystem of solutions from Caterpillar ; a hydrogen engine testing exhibit highlighting the ongoing fuels development work and a remanufactured C7.1 .
The XES60 mobile battery energy storage solution ( BESS ) will also be showcased . Since its launch , the XES BESS products have been a key piece of equipment on many sites with its rapid plug and play installation . It supports on-site battery-electric machine charging .
HCME customer focus on show
Hitachi Construction Machinery ( Europe ) NV ( HCME ) is preparing to showcase an array of products and services at bauma 2025 , with several developments making their worldwide debut .
More than 30 machines ranging from one to 120 t will be on display at the 4,000 sq . m stand . This includes the manufacturer ’ s growing line-up of electric machines , from 1.7 to 14 t .
Seven mini and compact excavators ( one to nine tonnes ) will be presented , of which several are equipped with two-piece booms to highlight their added versatility . In addition , a selection of Zaxis-7 models will be exhibited in Europe for the first time .
Also making their first appearances are three models in the medium crawler category . They are accompanied by the recently launched ZX135US- 7B and the ZX210-7 . Representing the extensive Zaxis-7 wheeled excavator range are the ZX135W- 7 , ZX175W-7 and ZX220W-7 , renowned for exceptional fuel efficiency , and unrivalled comfort and safety , the company says .
To highlight the extensive portfolio of Hitachi construction equipment , the bauma stand will also host two ZW-7 wheel loaders , the ZW180-7 and ZW310-7 .
The Stage V-compliant ZW180-7 and ZW310-7 wheel loaders are among the safest machines in the market , thanks to all-round visibility and intelligent systems , according to the company .
Operators have a superior view from all angles – especially with the visibility to the rear and either side of the narrow engine hood . The Aerial Angle camera system provides a 270-degree bird ’ s-eye view of the job site , while the rear obstacle detection and warning system alerts them immediately if anything is close to the rear of the machine .
