China-based HPY Technology Co Ltd specialises in the development and implementation of intelligent ore sorting technology using XRTbased equipment .
Since its establishment in 2015 , HPY Technology has dedicated itself to bringing innovation and technological advancements to the mining industry , achieving success with over 30 ore types , including tungsten , tin , antimony , lead , zinc , copper , molybdenum , gold and phosphates . In 2021 , HPY Technology introduced a series of what it refers to as “ revolutionary ore sorting machines ”, which included the Insight Series , Golden Coal Series and the Circle Series .
The Circle Series is the first and currently only ring-shaped ore sorting machine available in the market , according to HPY Technology . “ Its unique design is based on the principles of calculating the area of a circle using the value of π ,” Shuhao Zhou , Vice President of HPY Technology , explained . “ This shape enhances its processing capacity by 3.14 times the amount achieved by traditional intelligent ore sorting machines . Additionally , the unique shape allows ores to freely fall into the machine , eliminating interference with detection technologies during feeding and , thus , increasing overall accuracy and efficiency .”
Zhou added : “ The Circle Series offers significant economic benefits and can save mining companies up to $ 4.5 million / y . With a processing grain size of 5-90 mm , the machine can process up to 300 t / h . This means a single machine can meet the requirements of a mineral processing plant with a production capacity of 3,000-4,000 t / d . Combined with the Wenshu Algorithm , an algorithm designed specifically for sorting ores , the Circle Series can process 10,000 pieces of ore every second . The research and development that went into the machines has created many benefits for the mining companies leveraging them in their processes .”
Tajik-China Mining has modified its mining process and gradually adopted the “ medium
depth bore decrepitation process ” in preparation for an anticipated expansion . This processing method has improved efficiency , however , it has also led to an increase in the ore depletion rate , resulting in a decrease in ore grade and a rise in concentration costs . To improve productivity of the grinding and flotation processes , the waste rock must be removed from the raw ore . To achieve this , Tajik-China Mining decided to use HPY Technology ’ s Circle Series to pre-concentrate
