UNDERGROUND LOAD & HAUL
The PFL 20 loader employs an advanced drivetrain system for superior penetration force, supporting sustainable mining operations with low ventilation requirements, Paus says
enables ergonomic side access, eliminating the need to enter via the articulated joint – a traditional safety risk.
“ The spacious operator cabin, designed to meet ROPS / FOPS standards, can be equipped with advanced safety features such as collision and fatigue warning systems, as well as three-point seat belts,” it says.“ Furthermore, in unstable mining environments, operators can swiftly transition to radio remote control operation, ensuring maximum protection.”
The cabin layout within the PFL platform prioritises operator comfort and control, with a side-positioned seat offering“ superior” visibility during loading and manoeuvring while promoting a“ natural posture”. The airsuspended seat enhances both comfort and health protection, especially in rough terrain, according to the company, with intuitive joystick controls within easy reach.
Paus loaders boast impressive breakout forces and exceptional loading efficiency, reducing cost-per-tonne and accelerating
mineral transport, Paus says.“ Compact vehicle dimensions and small turning radii enhance manoeuvrability, while hydrostatic and hydrodynamic drive options ensure optimal power delivery,” it explained.“ The PFL 8, with a 1.5-t payload, operates seamlessly in narrow spaces with track widths as small as 2.2 m. Larger models, such as the PFL 20( 4-t payload) and PFL 30( 6-t payload), employ advanced drivetrain systems for superior penetration forces, supporting sustainable mining operations with low ventilation requirements.”
With Paus Connect, machine operations are monitored and optimised, enabling predictive maintenance and minimising downtime, the company says. The integrated Diagnostic Display simplifies troubleshooting and maintenance, meanwhile, ensuring longevity.
The company concluded:“ Paus continues to lead with cutting-edge drivetrain solutions, offering both diesel- and electric-powered versions to accommodate diverse mining needs. Designed for CE conformity, the PFL series includes battery- and cable-powered options that support sustainable operations.”
