TotalEnergies Lubrifiants has also announced the creation of the first standardised specifications for Electric Drive System ( EDS ) fluids . This development marks a significant step forward three years after the launch of the Quartz EV Fluids and Rubia EV Fluids ranges , designed specifically for hybrid and electric vehicles . These specifications were developed using TotalEnergies ' advanced expertise and resources , ensuring that the fluids meet rigorous criteria such as viscosity , oxidation , corrosion , durability and material compatibility , while optimising the energy efficiency and performance of electric transmissions and motors .

TotalEnergies is also forming new partnerships in traditional lubricant markets . Effective March 11 , 2024 , HBT Australia and leading energy sector solutions company TotalEnergies Marketing Australia ( a subsidiary of TotalEnergies SE ) have agreed on ‘ a new strong partnership .’
HBT will work with TotalEnergies Marketing Australia to provide resource companies with access to a single solution provider for all their onsite tunnelling , mining fluid , and lubricant requirements , including the Longwall HFA fluid .
