Mark Critch is a Newfoundland and Labrador, Canadian Celebrity. Originally he was a writer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He is now one of the stars, after two appearances in the 10th season and recurring in Seasons 11 and 12. He has also been a guest on CBC Radio One's Madly Off in All Directions, the CBC Television show Republic of Doyle and is the host of CBC TV's Halifax Comedy Festival. He plays the recurring role of Gary Breakfast on the CTV sitcom Satisfaction. Mark has also appeared in several films, including The Grand Seduction, Anchor Zone, Rare Birds, and Above and Beyond. He is amazing at doing impressions of many Celebrities and Politicians. There is almost nothing Mark can't get away with on TV because he is so hilarious. He presented at the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards with the cast of, This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Most recently he has performed at the Halifax Comedy Fest and was in a Documentary for CBC.
CBC Newfoundland and Labrador have been working and shooting on the project, Trail of the Caribou for a year now. It's hosted by Mark Critch and Allan Hawco. The two Canadian Celebs follow the steps of their own ancestors during the Great War.
In preparation for the 100th anniversary of the First World War battle at Beaumont-Hamel, France, Allan Hawco and Mark Critch are telling the story of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment through this documentary Trail of the Caribou.
Allan Hawco, Mark Critch trace steps of Newfoundland Regiment in the documentary. In 2015 the crew travelled to Turkey, Belgium and France where they were joined by Alan Doyle to retrace the regiment's footsteps in the First World War.
