CONEXPO PREVIEW
– a leader in the design, production and distribution of hydraulic and pneumatic demolition and drilling equipment – and Hensley Industries – a global provider of ground engaging tools for utility equipment up to the largest cable shovels in mining operations – will give a glimpse as to how far the OEM is embedded in the construction and mining sectors.
On display at CONEXPO will be the next generation of equipment, including the new PC220LCi-12 excavator, the WA485-11 and WA475-11 wheel loaders, and a“ few new machines” that will make their debut at the show, it says.“ Each is designed with operator comfort, precision controls and intelligent machine technology to help you meet today’ s production goals and tomorrow’ s challenges.”
This will be complemented by a host of digital tools to simplify decision making and help customers get more from every workday, it says.
“ Komatsu’ s connected technology ecosystem is designed to help you manage your fleet, dig precisely to plan, track and report your work, streamline your back office, communicate easily and deploy autonomy,” the company added.
Power your ambition
Those who visit the Volvo Construction Equipment booth at CONEXPO will see more than a dozen machines make their debut among a show theme of‘ Power Your Ambition’.
series and enhanced services – Volvo CE is prepared to demonstrate how its latest offerings support increased uptime, productivity and safety.”
Scott Young, Head of Region North America, Volvo CE, added:“‘ Power Your Ambition’ represents the spirit of people in the construction and mining industries. They’ re driven to grow their skill sets and their businesses, and Volvo CE is committed to partnering with them to find solutions that help them overcome challenges and reach their goals.”
Among the nearly 20 machines – including 14 new or first-looks – on display will be an all-new excavator, articulated dump truck and wheel loader series, as well as new rigid hauler, soil and asphalt compactor, and electric models. Newgeneration models from across the Volvo CE line-up will be in the company’ s CONEXPO booth, making the show the first time most people will be able to see them in one place.
In a live event ahead of the Las Vegas show in January, Volvo CE announced that the 60 ton( 55 t) A60 ADT and 72 ton( 65 t) R70 rigid haul truck would make show debuts.
The overhauled A60, Volvo CE says, delivers 15 % better fuel efficiency and 5 % higher productivity than its predecessor. It is the largest 6x6 ADT in the industry, according to the company, with its new all-Volvo powertrain including a robust transmission and axles that enable full power to be used in all gears. The company like machine control systems, site solutions and advanced telematics that, it says, help customers work smarter and safer. Attendees will be able to experience what it is like to incorporate this technology into their fleets by visiting replicas of site offices. The middle of the booth will feature an operating pit where visitors can test internal combustion engine and electric excavator models. There will also be a structure housing machine simulators, a brand shop, meeting spaces and more.
Hands on the Future
Exhibiting under the theme Hands on the Future, Liebherr’ s CONEXPO exhibits will span more than 6,590 sq. m and feature construction machines, material handling equipment, mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, concrete technology, deep foundation machines and digital innovations. The company’ s main booth, at Festival Grounds, will showcase the complete range of Liebherr product segments. This 929 sq. m interactive demonstration area will host live shows daily throughout the week, allowing attendees to experience multiple machines in operation in real time.

Supporting OEMs, integrators
Tele Radio’ s wireless control solutions are widely used in the construction and mining sectors, with Miguel Tellez, Managing Director at Tele Radio America LLC, reeling off applications like cranes, lifting equipment, concrete machinery, service trucks and mobile hydraulic machines as areas where its products have helped improve safety, reliability and precision.
The company will show a complete line of radio remote controls at CONEXPO, but it will highlight its strengths beyond the hardware itself, including deep application expertise, the ability to customise control systems to specific machines, and close collaboration with OEMs and integrators.
Tellez said:“ As construction equipment continues to evolve toward greater efficiency and operator safety, Tele Radio is expanding its support for OEMs and integrators, while strengthening local stock availability and technical resources in the US to better serve the construction industry.”
Attendees will see products across three Tele Radio ranges:
