information is available as and when needed . Being able to see the results of each scheduling change without the need to re-run the schedule provides significant advantages and time savings , too .
The inclusion of “ Breakpoint Scheduling ”, which RPM says it pioneered in 2021 , has been strengthened significantly with the addition of live reporting . Users now get immediate feedback on current scheduling results every time a breakpoint is reached .
Another new feature of MinePlanner is “ Schedule Locking ”. This allows the user to lock portions of the schedule they are finished with , avoiding the need to reschedule when refining future periods , the company explains . Schedule locking significantly reduces the time needed to complete a schedule by eliminating unnecessary reprocessing of scheduling periods that have already been successfully scheduled .
Eriez expands in WA
Eriez has announced the opening of its newest sales office in Western Australia , replacing its long-time sales representative organisation Western Process Equipment ( WPE ) with an Eriez-owned and operated sales and service centre in Perth .
WPE has served Eriez customers in Perth for more than five decades , offering an extensive line of Eriez equipment , most notably in the mining and minerals processing industries .
Eriez ’ s Western Australia office will continue to provide suspended electromagnets , flotation equipment , metal detectors , magnetic mill liners , vibratory screeners and other equipment for the mining market .
“ Eriez is expanding its offerings to customers in Western Australia through its new Repair and Service Center in the Perth facility , expediting the turnaround time for repairs conducted out of the Perth region ,” Eric Nelson , Eriez Vice President of International Operations and Business Development , said . “ The Service Center can handle suspended electromagnets , wet drum separators , eddy current separators and other larger pieces of equipment .”
