The RM18 . KE ( pictured ) is one of a number of battery-electric drilling and bolting machines from Mine Master , part of GHH Group . Designed to work in galleries from 2 m up to 5.8 m in height and equipped with a 1.8 m mechanised bolting mast for nine bolts and a 120 kWh sodium-nickel battery , the bolting rig has , so far , received favourable industry reviews from deployments in Poland , including a trial at KGHM ’ s Lubin copper mine .
