This month ’ s cover shows a hoist system installation on one of the heavy-duty test benches in the assembly plant area at SIEMAG TECBERG ’ s headquarters in Germany . For a system supplier , it is particularly important to coordinate the mechanical , hydraulic , drive and automation technologies on the assembled hoisting machine in a system-integrated manner . During testing on the test bench in the assembly plant after the parameterisation of the individual components , a system test with pre-optimisation of the entire drivetrain in various operating conditions with acceleration and deceleration phases can take place . This also applies to optimisation at standstill with torque switched on . This lays the foundation for a stable system operation after assembly at the mining customer site . www . siemag-tecberg . de
