CITIC designed and produced a JKMD-5.7 × 4PIII mine hoist and head sheaves for the main shaft of the Chambishi copper mine in Zambia

The company adds : “ Maintaining the goal of meeting or exceeding international standards , CITIC is continuously improving the mechanical , hydraulic and electric control system , innovating designs at the same pace as developed countries . Motors are sourced from domestic and international suppliers . Most of the equipped hydraulic braking systems are independently designed and manufactured by CITIC . The control
principle and braking performance have reached the international advanced level and CITIC has independent intellectual property rights . Hydraulic braking systems can be sourced from ABB in Sweden and SIEMAG from Germany as per client ' s request . Hoist system ancillary components are sourced from domestic and international suppliers , such as for steel wire rope , hoist containers , loading and uploading devices , steel wire rope failure detectors , and steel wire rope changers .”
CITIC ’ s AC-DC-AC VVVF Electronic Control System deliveries include a complete JKMD- 5 × 4PIII 4,600 kW 6kV AC-DC-AC frequency conversion electronic control system for the
main shaft of Shanxi Linbei coal mine commissioned in 2017 ; a JKMD-4.5 × 4PIII 3,500 kW 3.15kV AC-DC-AC frequency conversion electronic control system for the main shaft of Mingniwan phosphate mine of Guizhou Lufa group commissioned in 2018 ; a JKMD-4.5 × 4PIII 2,800 kW 3.15kV AC-DC-AC frequency conversion electronic control system for the main shaft of Jiangxi Copper Yinshan mine commissioned in 2019 . CITIC supplied seven sets of hoist electronic control systems to Russia , Serbia , Vietnam , Turkey and other locations in 2020 .
Finally , CITIC adds : “ With increasing energy demands and coal resources found in deep shafts , advanced technology is becoming more important . To meet these requirements for future mines , CITIC has developed large sinking hoist technology for > 2 km shafts to handle large volume containers over 7 m 3 .” CITIC has supplied a model 2JKZ-5x3P Extra-large shaft sinking hoist for Shandong Zhaojin Group Ruihai Mining Co ., Ltd ( max static tension 410 kN ; max static tension difference 290 kN ; max hoisting speed 7.8 m / s ; motor power : 2,800 kW ) which is used for the 1.53 km deep shaft . For JCHX Mining Management Co Ltd , a JKZ-5x3P Extra-large shaft sinking hoist ( max static tension 410 kN ; max hoisting speed 7.8 m / s ; motor power : 2 x 2,000 kW ) is used for a 2 km deep vertical shaft .
