Most recently , a new class of constraints has been introduced to Minemax Scheduler that allows mine planners to model their requirements for direct , stockpiled and reclaimed movements more efficiently . Directional constraints enable planners to specify directions for any controlled quantity , quality , or location using a simplified workflow , and to create models that are simpler to configure , easier to adjust and more efficient , the company said .
In addition , Minemax will be soon releasing a new version of Minemax Scheduler with Haulage Technology that will be showcased at MINExpo 2021 .
Minemax Haulage , first introduced in Tempo for detailed mine planning , will allow mine planners to quickly calculate and validate truck cycle times for their haulage routes to processing destinations , stockpiles and waste dumps during their project set-up . Workflows will guide planners through the configuration to leverage all the power of Minemax Scheduler to deliver optimum mine plans considering trucking constraints and any associated capital expenditure , the company said .
Attachments , components , dump bodies and mill media
As miners look to increase machine and plant availability while reducing costs , the importance of specially engineered attachments , components , wear parts and mill media has been made clear .
ESCO , a Weir Group division , is renowned for its components for mining , construction and industrial applications , and the company intends to highlight some of its finest solutions on its MINExpo 2021 booth .
Nemisys ® lip and GET ( ground engaging tool ) systems are now available for all mining buckets and there will be a dedicated area of the ESCO booth to provide insights into the full offering .
The Nemisys tooth system has been installed on over 750 machines worldwide . It features an integrated singleside lock for easier and faster removal to minimise machine downtime during maintenance cycles , while the hammerless lock provides improved engagement with the nose to significantly reduce the chance of point loss and unplanned downtime .
An ESCO cable shovel cast lip with the Nemisys N3 lip system will be featured at MINExpo . ESCO dipper lips are engineered and manufactured for maximum durability , service life and lower maintenance , according to the company . They are seamless , single-piece castings , poured in a proprietary ESCO alloy formulated to provide excellent toughness and weldability . The wide range of lip profiles – fitting either Whisler Plus™ or Nemisys lip systems – can match customer requirements and optimise dipper performance .
The ESCO cable shovel cast lip will be joined on the company ’ s display by an ESCO wheel loader bucket for a Cat 993 with Nemisys N65 tooth system . The company produces reliable , performance-driven wheel loader buckets built for the world ’ s most demanding mine sites , with these buckets compatible with most 5 cu . m class – and larger – loaders , it said .
One of ESCO ’ s newest innovations , the ToolTek™ system , will also get a MINExpo outing .
A collaborative effort with key mining customers , ToolTek provides enhanced safety for maintenance personnel during replacement of worn Nemisys points and adapters . The ToolTek system is a hydraulic crane-mounted tool that is remotely operated , keeping personnel well out of harm ’ s way during replacement of worn components . New parts are pre-staged on racks positioned on the flatbed truck outfitted with the hydraulic crane .
