MINEXPO PREVIEW
M20 can also be fitted with a battery-electric driveline where , with the on-board charger , charging automatically happens while connected to the grid for drilling .
Epiroc ’ s Boltec M10 and E10 bolting rigs will also be highlighted , with the former having a physical presence at the show . Designed for increased productivity and quality bolt installation , the rigs feature a new operator control panel , reduced noise levels , better visibility , improved operator ergonomics and diesel and battery-electric options , according to the company . Tele-remote operation is also available , as well as single bolt auto installation with self-drilling anchor bolts in combination with pumpable resin .
Several products from Epiroc ’ s tools range , including the COP 57P DTH hammer range , will also be on show .
To highlight Epiroc ’ s commitment to continued customer support , it will showcase several aftermarket products at MINExpo 2021 . Many of these are geared towards electrification , such as its Epiroc modular battery system , Batteries as a Service model , battery conversion kits , charging produces and additional electrification infrastructure .
Apart from the electrification offering , Epiroc will display service products , upgrades and programs , including the COP MD20 hydraulic rock drill and programs in the areas of “ Remanufacturing and Live Work Elimination ”.
Lastly , the mining OEM will discuss automation and information management solutions as part of its 6th Sense digitalisation capabilities .
Aramine is no stranger to battery-electric vehicle development with a range of ‘ zero emission ’ equipment for narrow-vein and lowprofile applications in its lineup .
The France-based company has made ‘ innovation ’ its MINExpo theme , exemplified at the event by its exclusive Quick Replacement System ( QRS ) for battery-swapping purposes – set to be demonstrated at the show – and the launch of a new battery-powered 3.5 t mining loader .
Under its own brand , Aramine designs and builds innovative and eco-friendly machines for small and medium section galleries , such as compact loaders , drills and trucks . Offering three different types of power ( diesel , electric and battery ), the range has more than 15 different models , fitting galleries from 4-15 sq . m .
The QRS , designed by Aramine ’ s R & D department , and currently mounted on its miniLoader L140B , allows the machine to run constantly except for the 15 minutes required for battery-swapping using a specialised crane .
The L350B , the new 3.5 t battery-powered loader being displayed , will use the same QRS
system for battery swapping , but an optional autonomous battery changing system – without the need for a crane – is in the works .
Aramine also remanufactures mining equipment as new from different OEM brands . This activity , part of Aramine ’ s sustainability approach , is realised according to OEM specifications and includes the latest engineering design and performances upgrades , using only genuine spare parts and including worldwide warranty , it said .
On its second booth , Aramine will showcase its spare parts offering . Under the name ‘ Smart Parts ’, it has more than 1.5 million manufacturer references computerised and 850,000 of these in stock at different warehouses . At its Francebased workshop , Aramine can propose remanufactured components too .
GHH Group ’ s MINExpo 2021 stand will be filled with key artwork and video material to focus attendees ’ attention on its niche and new product offerings , sharing both its successes as well as future endeavours .
The design of Aramine ’ s battery-electric L350B is based off the diesel-powered L350D
The recently launched LF-7 loader will be a focal point of the GHH booth . This 7 t payload LHD is fit for large narrow vein and smaller mass mining operations , measuring only 8,900 mm long in driving position , 2,240 mm wide at the bucket and 2,200 mm high at the cab when loaded . It has an approximate operating weight of 18 t .
The loader comes with the biggest bucket ( 3.6 cu . m ) and best power rating in its class , according to the company . The LF-7 is powered by a 164 kW Cummins diesel engine that complies with US Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final , and EU Stage V emissions standards . It can cope with gradients of up to 28 % and reach speeds of up to 27 km / h .
The cab is ROPS / FOPS certified and offers a high level of safety and ergonomics with comfortable t-back seat , low whole body
