HIGH PROFILE include the huge Zhungeer coal mining complex (WK-20s and others) of Shenhua Group as well as Jiangxi Copper (WK-35s and others) and the mentioned WK-75 customer Datang. Given the size of these shovels, they are always fully assembled in the factory then diassembled for shipment. This is by road in China, by rail to Russia, and by ship from Tianjin to Africa and South America. Crushing stations, bucketwheels and spreaders Also relevant to mining is TYHI’s business covering semi and fully mobile crushing stations, and waste spreaders where for the crushing stations it offers the option of TZ (up to largest TZ1530-2800 model) or Metso for the gyratory crusher and TZ or FLSmidth ABON sizers as part of the overall systems, but TYHI does everything else. The largest semi-mobile stations (which it calls Semi-Mobile Gyratory Crusher Station or SMCS) to date, were two 10,000 t/h systems for iron ore miner TISCO (Yuanjiacun mine), each with a 60-110E Metso gyratory. There is another semi- mobile system at Ansteel and another at Panzhihua Steel (60-89 gyratory). Four semi- mobile stations are also set for delivery to Julong Copper with 60-110E Metso gyratory crushers. In terms of fully mobile systems, the company told IM that it has designed one for a new coal mining customer in China that is ordering three crushing stations from TYHI and three from thyssenkrupp but did not name the project. The company offers options from 3,000 t/h to 9,000 Taiyuan Heavy WK-Series electric shovels Shovel name WK-4D WK-12C WK-15 WK-20A WK-20C WK-27A WK-35 WK-45 WK-55 WK-75 Nominal payload (t) 9 Truck match (t) 40 80-154 22 27 100-154 Boom length (m) 10.5 13 15 15.5 15.5 154-220 154-220 154-240 172-326 172-363 36 45 49 65 82 110 220-363 135 Over 291 Working weight (t) 220 490 630 779/792 867/880 972/980 17.68 17.68 19.5 1,065/1,080 1,375/1,380 20.17 21.5 1,540/1,560 1,988 Comminution ‘20 Cape Town, South Africa, April 27-30, 2020 Sponsored by: King's Ceramics & Chemicals, Russell Mineral Equipment, Keramos, Grinding Solutions, Glencore Technology, Starkey & Associates, ME Elecmetal, Derrick Corp., ZEISS, Hudbay Minerals, Magotteaux, FLSmidth, Outotec, Cenotec, CEEC, International Mining & Imformed Biomining ‘20 Falmouth, Cornwall, UK, June 8-9, 2020 t/h with the model referred to as a Double Roller Crushing Station, which as well as fully mobile is offered as a semi-mobile unit. The systems have a feeder module, crusher module (sizer or double roll), discharge rubber belt conveyor module and control tower panel module. As stated all TZ Coal Machine TZ Coal Machine Co Ltd (THMGCM) is a JV company between seven different coal mining enterprises and TYHI. It has an annual production capacity of 200 sets of longwall shearers, 100 sets of roadheaders (including EBZ135 model) and 2,000 sets of hydraulic roof supports as well as offering coal conveyors, bridge stage loaders, hoists, washing equipment ancillary haulage equipment, in-seam directional drills, hydraulic and electric systems. Shearers include 2,500 and 3,000 kW models. In particular the MG1150/3000-WD Electrical Haulage Shearer is described as the largest shearer in cutting power designed in China, having 3,010 kW installed power and 4,500 t/h in production capability. these models are offered either with an ABON sizer or TYHI’s own TZ double roll crusher up to its TZ1600 model, which weighs 190 t and is quoted as having a 9,000-12,000 t/h capacity. In bucketwheel excavators deliveries include a 3,100 m 3 /h installation at Zhungeer. With regard to spreaders, TISCO has a 9,000 t/h system and Baosteel a 4,500 t/h system. There are two types of spreaders, the upper boom and lower boom, with the spreader normally operating along with a tripper car. TYHI can supply solutions from 2,000 t/h to 18,000 t/h (60 m boom). Finally for moving and setting of this type of equipment TYHI builds transport crawlers from 350 t to 1,200 t carrying weight. Not standing still – design and R&D TYHI has not been resting on old designs with continual updates to technology applied to its range. Recently, these have involved the latest in machine intelligence technology with a focus on productivity and safety. For example, its WK- Series rope shovels now have a system to monitor blind spots using radar and cameras, which is offered as an option to customers.
