Caterpillar recently announced the availability of a highly efficient diesel exhaust particulate filter( DPF), a Wall Flow Filter, for its larger LHDs and largest truck. The Wall Flow Filter removes more than 98 % of particulates in the exhaust stream, as compared to the Flow Through Filter, which removes more than 50 %.
