The MUKI has also been extended to other
applications such as long hole production giving
rise to the following equipment variant models:
the MUKI LHP, a machine with pendular arm and
perfect automatic parallelism in transversal
coverage, the MUKI LHBP-2R, a model equipped
with parallel holding boom, allowing it to drill
close to side walls and thus avoid extra
steering.
Another model has also just been launched,
the MUKI BOLTER, a fully-mechanised machine
for fortification, which includes a magazine.
“The MUKI family is only just beginning,”

LHDs for narrow vein from Overprime
Overprime Manufacturing SAC, as part of the
products it has been manufacturing in Peru
since 2016, offers two narrow loaders for
narrow-vein mining operations; the XLH05D of
0.5m 3 /0.75yd 3 and the XLH12D of 1.20 m 3 /1.50
yd 3 of load capacity. Both at the level of their
structures and their components, the LHDs are
designed to withstand the demanding work in
narrow vein operations, as well as demanding
temperatures. The main components (engine,
pumps, valves, electrical systems) are
recognised brands for work in underground
mining operations. They are 100% hydrostatic
driven and their engineering design allows easy
access for periodic filter change, lubrication,
pressure regulation, as well as maintenance of
the main components.
The configuration of the equipment used in
the design (engine power/pressures/hydraulic
flow) allows for a high torque performance, load
capacity and therefore productivity in different

Overprime and GHH Fahrzeuge have agreed
to form a strategic alliance, promoting the sale
of their machines in the areas of influence of
each of the companies in the world. This
alliance will allow technical and commercial
synergies, sharing knowledge of markets, and
new technical adaptations of the machines
based on the requirements of each market,
enabling comparative advantages of after sales
support, efficiency and productivity.

and simple” approach and is proven worldwide.
Finally, the well-proven MK-A20 with a
payload of 20 t has just been upgraded with a
Tier 4 Interim engine with a diesel particle filter
to comply with strict regulations in European
tunnelling applications. Furthermore, a simple
air-cooled engine as well as a Tier 3 water-
cooled engine are still available. The machine
has a good power-to-weight ratio and can be
efficiently operated in narrow veins without
turning due to its side seating operator position.
GHH continues to expand
For narrow vein mining applications GHH
Fahrzeuge provides LHDs with 3, 4.5 and 6 t
payloads as well as dump trucks with 15 and 20 t
payload. GHH has recently launched its LF-3 with
a payload of 3.5 t. The machine is based on a
well-proven design and is now updated to fulfil
the latest standards. The machine is only 1.50 m
wide and is powered by a 70 kW Deutz air-cooled
D914L6 Tier 3 compliant engine. Other engine
options including water-cooled versions for high
altitude applications will follow shortly. Despite
its narrow profile the cabin features excellent
ergonomics due to a large foot box. GHH’s “bar-
of-soap” design minimises impacts while the
ultra-high-cycle-fatigue steel frame design grants
the longest possible service life. The first
machine went to a client in Brazil.
The 4.5 t LHD for narrow vein mining and
tunnelling applications was recently updated
with a Tier 3 compliant engine as well as Tier 4
for highly regulated markets. This machine has
the largest payload and power per weight ratio
of its class and thus sets standards for
productivity. Its simple and robust design
ensures best availability even under rough
conditions.
The LF-6 has a payload of 6 t and was just
upgraded with a Tier 3 water-cooled engine and
several other safety features in order to comply
with most mining markets around the world.
