EIRICH mixer“ not only delivers savings in terms of binder quantities but also achieves uniform strength values for the resultant pellets. A typical example is the mixing / coating of finely dispersed iron ore concentrate with bentonite. In this case mixers are run with fill quantities of 12 m ³ in a continuous process with a throughput rate of up to 1,200 t / h for months without interruption; thanks to the improved distribution it was possible to drastically reduce the amounts of bentonite used. In sizes of up to 15 mm the pellets have uniform strength, which is what is required for use in blast furnaces or direct reduction processes.”

Lifting total cost of ownership
J D Neuhaus( JDN) offers both pneumatic and hydraulic series lifting equipment together with crane systems to cover a large number of tasks in mining maintenance and in OEM mining equipment manufacture. JDN says it places particular importance on the total cost of ownership( TCO), with JDN hoists and system solutions“ providing optimal versatility, lowest life cycle costs, shortest possible service times and maximum safety at the highest possible levels of efficiency.”

JDN Service completes the range of offerings, from installation and commissioning of a system through to maintenance and general overhaul. REMA TIP TOP, the globally operating system provider of services and products in the field of conveying and treatment technology as well as tyre repair, has acquired Norte Sul Serviços de Vulcanização( Norte Sul Serviços), a conveyor maintenance provider in Brazil. Through the acquisition, REMA TIP TOP has increased its global footprint and is now present in Brazil with a wholly-owned subsidiary.
