The indicated advantages of the BELAZ 75581 dump truck allowed it to open up new countries and continents . Africa become one of the first customers together with the Russian Federation . A customer in South Africa stated with surprise that the truck requires only fuel and consumables throughout its operational life . Other countries like Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan , Vietnam and Mongolia have further increased the list of users of the electric drive 100 short ton truck .
Today a number of customers from Europe and North and South America are also interested in the BELAZ 75581 dump truck and the machine is at negotiation stage for several projects .
“ These dump trucks , like any other products manufactured by OJSC BELAZ , are available with the maximum number of options for the main system and components , and are offered with minimum interest rates for financing in combination with the shortest possible lead time of one to two months from order placement to shipment .”
Automation update
A recent Forum of the Strategic Initiative Agency was held in Moscow at the Exposition Hall VDNKh Expocenter ( Exhibition of Economic Achievements ) on July 21-22 , 2016 . An important part of the Forum was the " show of projects ", where innovating companies showed off their pilot projects , supported by the SIA . The strategic partner of OJSC BELAZ , VIST Group , demonstrated the Intelligent Mine project and informed delegates about the possibilities to create a new robotic mining complex with BELAZ equipment .
In 2010 , BELAZ together with VIST Group for the first time developed and presented a pilotless mining dump truck of model BELAZ 75131 equipped with a DC drive system with payload capacity of 130 t .
The system of remote control developed for this project was an important step on the highway to creation of the pilotless mining dump truck . Today , if a customer desires , BELAZ together with its Russian partners VIST can install the necessary equipment for remote control on any model of BELAZ mining dump truck with electrical mechanical transmission and payload capacity from 90 up to 450 t . Further improvements of dump truck designs are allowing the development of fully autonomous self-driving dump trucks . A robotic mining complex with BELAZ equipment will make it possible to : n Automate mining operations and transportation of solid minerals in open-pit mines n Increase efficiency index and mine safety n Develop and implement innovative technologies in mining .
New machinery to increase factory capacity
In order to increase the competitiveness of the BELAZ brand as well as to develop new capacity for the production of mining dump trucks with payload capacities up to 450 t , as well as expand into new markets , the productive capacities of OJSC BELAZ are constantly being modernised and further expanded . This is accomplished primarily though the widespread implementation of equipment with numerical control in the production process . NC equipment is used for the following operations : lathe turning , cutting , drilling , as well as specific operations like gear machining . BELAZ now has more than 500 NC machines that cover more than 65 % of the total volume of machining

works . For cutting and preparation for production such equipment is applied on 100 % of works . Between 2011-2015 alone , fixed asset investments of BELAZ amounted to $ 299.5 million . New cross-country MOAZ truck
Finally , at the other end of the scale , for smaller mining and quarrying customers , OJSC BELAZ has developed a prototype model of dump truck MOAZ 75050 with a payload capacity of 25 t . It has several advantages in comparison to the present serial model : n the dump truck is equipped with a more
efficient diesel engine SCANIA DC09076A with electronic control . Individual cylinder heads of the engine reduce labour intensity and the cost of maintenance n a hydromechanical transmission is equipped with an automatic monitoring system which allows the use of the engine and hydromechanical transmission more effectively n the hydraulic system is equipped with an electrohydraulic control , which enables a reduction in the quantity of hydraulic couplings and thus increases the reliability of the dump truck n the suspension system includes four individual air-hydraulic cylinders that absorb shock loads and prevent them from affecting the main frame ; rear suspension cylinders oscillate the rear axle and facilitate the absorbing of bending and torque force occurring while driving along an uneven road as well as preventing it from affecting the main frame n reinforced structural elements in the most loaded parts : suspension supports , body and cabin supports . n it has installed tubeless tyres 26.5-25 with the rim flange mounting to the axle hubs ; it has a new body made of wear-resistant steel ; and enhanced suspension attaching points n original cabin and frame made as a plated tube construction . A two-seat cabin has enhanced visibility and has noise and vibration insulation . The cab is attached to the dump truck main frame by shock absorbers . Different modes of air supply with a heating system and air conditioner create a comfortable microclimate . The cabin is equipped with all necessary control devices that comply with the working conditions and safety requirements of ISO . The cabin also has ROPS and FOPS and is equipped with a smart electronic dashboard which can control all dump truck parameters on-line . IM
