Benefits to Online Learning to Continue After Pandemic
Comment : “ I see the benefit in continuing to provide asynchronous lectures to listen to / review from home . I believe this would allow in-person time to be better utilized for case studies , labs , processing information , etc . I can imagine the practice courses were challenging for the second-year students to complete virtually — I do think certain courses are better suited for virtual learning than others . The courses for third year students were fantastic in an online format .”
Attitude Towards Online Learning
Comment : “ While it was nice in a lot of way , the socialization and relationships built in-person are more valuable . I missed seeing professors and classmates . Group work would have been easier in person too . Plus , I get distracted at home . Overall , it was totally fine but I ’ m don ’ t have an overly positive feeling about it .”

Future Directions

Our program at this point hasn ’ t discussed formally how aspects of online learning will continue once in-person classes resume this in the future . These authors have learned that there are online learning modalities that could supplement in-person class materials and would contemplate the following continued online modalities that have been identified as resources for other health
