Texas , and it ’ s okay . It ’ s as good as anyplace else , and better than a lot of places I ’ ve lived , so I find it fine . but then I ’ m not a very social person , so I don ’ t really go out that much . And we ’ re in a very large house , and we ’ ve got a lot of space , so I tend to just kick back , and because I ’ m on the road so much , it ’ s quite nice to do absolutely nothing . And I don ’ t have children , but I share
the house with two other people , and we ’ ve got two dogs .
IE : So what ’ s the general theme of Arctic Moon ? MB : Well , it ’ s half done , but we don ’ t know which songs are actually going to be on it , because we ’ re developing new material all the time . But we ’ re very excited by what we ’ ve done so far , I can tell you that much . And “ Arctic Moon ” has nothing to do with the arctic or the moon — it was a play on words that came out of the word ‘ lunatic ,’ so I suppose it represents various forms of lunacy , of which love and passion are all a part of . IE : How ’ s your health now ? MB : Great . Really great . I ’ m back , I got through it .
I had a really bad breakup , and it affected me very deeply , and I ’ m sure people can relate to that because everybody ’ s been through breakups at one time or another . But for me , personally , I took it very , very hard , and I ’ m happy to say that it got resolved and I ’ m fine , although it was touch and go for a little bit .
IE : Everybody seems to taking micro doses of psilocybin to cope these days . MB : Well , I definitely do ! I think it ’ s extremely beneficial , and I ’ ve been taking it pretty much all my life . And I don ’ t do it as a recreational thing — I do it when I need to get really deep into myself . And the one thing I really want to do is ayahuasca , and go to a legitimate ayahuasca retreat to do it , where you go for three to five days , because it can really help you get right down there and sort things out in a way that most medicinal methods just can ’ t do . It ’ s an
