ally that was an event that moved people the most. As we speak right now, I don't know if anything is lined up to celebrate that either. I think with all the stuff that's been going on with Bob (Geldof) in his personal life recently, I think it's too soon to try to celebrate anything. So I think we'll let the anniversary of the song slip by, but we'll see what happens next year. IE: Are you surprised how much of an impact that song had? MU: I'm surprised that it's still around, and that people still play it. I'm surprised the song is seen as a good song because I'm not convinced it was a great song. It's an OK track, but the moment all the artists committed to do it, then I knew it was gonna be successful. The moment dreadful. But nobody saw how successful it was actually gonna be. IE: Let's get back to Ultravox for a second. You had a very successful reunion tour and a new record. Where is the band at now? MU: Well, we're still around. I think it's a great thing about Ultravox getting back together, and that's a very grey area for me. Bands get back together usually for all the wrong reasons. We had no intention of getting back together. We were all happy doing our individual things, but we did get back together simply because of the music. Simply because we wanted to go out and play these tunes as Ultravox one more time. We did the three-week tour in Europe, but in true
